L'inventario

Step by step

How the move actually goes

Four steps, and three of them are ours.

  1. 1

You tell us you are moving

Start a chat or send an email. Say which app you use now and roughly how many customers, services and staff you have. That is the entire brief.

  2. 2

You pull what your system will give you

Find your current system in the list below and follow its steps. Every one of them exports your customers, and most give you upcoming appointments too. Almost none export your service menu or your staff — that part is a sentence in a message, not a file.

  3. 3

    We build your account

Customers, services, staff and upcoming bookings go in, and we read the result back rather than loading rows and hoping. Anything ambiguous, we ask you about instead of guessing.

  4. 4

You check it and go live

We hand the account over and show you what landed where. If something looks wrong, we fix it before you send a single reminder.

You carry on taking bookings in your current system the whole time. Nothing switches over until you say so.

Step one

Find your current system

Each system is different about what it will let you take with you. Open yours to see what you can export, what you have to ask them for, and what you can simply tell us.

Worth knowing

One of the few systems that lets you take your service menu as well as your clients. Saved card details are encrypted and never included — that is expected, nothing is missing.

Acuity Scheduling Most of it exports Show me where

Worth knowing

If you attach an intake form to the appointment export, the answers arrive as extra columns. Leave them in — we will work out which columns matter.

Worth knowing

Booksy will not let you export your own diary — their support team has to generate it. Ask them early, because that is the part with a person in the loop.

Both reports let you choose which columns come through. Take more than you think you need — it costs nothing and saves a second round trip.

GlossGenius Customers only Show me where

There is no self-serve export for this one. Contact GlossGenius support and ask them to send it to you as a file, then forward it to us. Start this early — it is the step with another company's response time in it.

  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

The client export only exists on desktop — people looking for it in the app conclude there is none. For your diary there is no export at all, but GlossGenius can give you a calendar sync link under Settings, then My Preferences, then Two-Way Calendar Sync. Send us that link and we can read your upcoming bookings from it.

Worth knowing

Neither report is labelled as an export, which is why people assume Mindbody has none. Schedule at a Glance is the one that carries your diary.

Worth knowing

The customer file goes to the account owner's inbox, not to whoever pressed the button. If you are not the owner, ask them to forward it — and check spam.

  • Upcoming appointments

    You export it
    1. Go to My Business, then Reports.
    2. Open Schedule by Provider.
    3. Pick a staff member and a date range, then export.
    4. Repeat for each staff member — it only does one at a time.
  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

The diary export runs one practitioner at a time, so a team of five means five files. Send them all — do not try to merge them yourself. Over about 1,000 clients the client list arrives by email instead of downloading.

StyleSeat Customers only Show me where

  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

There is a client export, despite its reputation — it is behind the three dots and arrives by email. Forward that email to us as it came. For your diary you will have to ask StyleSeat support directly.

Square Appointments Most of it exports Show me where

There is no self-serve export for this one. Contact Square Appointments support and ask them to send it to you as a file, then forward it to us. Start this early — it is the step with another company's response time in it.

  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

Square leaves repeating appointments out of the history export. If a lot of your diary is recurring bookings, say so when you send the file — otherwise those gaps look like missing data at our end.

Timely Most of it exports Show me where
  • Customers

    You export it

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

Timely also offers Word and PDF. Take the CSV — the other two look right to a person but cannot be read back in by software.

    You export it
    1. Go to the Customer tab, then Customer List.
    2. Run the report to pull everyone in.
    3. Export it as an Excel file.
  • Upcoming appointments

    Ask their support

There is no self-serve export for this one. Contact Vagaro support and ask them to send it to you as a file, then forward it to us. Start this early — it is the step with another company's response time in it.

  • Services

    You export it
    1. Go to Settings, then Employees, then Employee Profiles.
    2. Open a staff member and go to their Services.
    3. Use the download icon.
    4. Rename each file before downloading the next one — they all download with the same name.
  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

Only the account owner can export the customer list, so if you are staff the owner has to run it. Services export one employee at a time and every file lands with an identical name, so rename as you go or you will overwrite them.

Wix Bookings Most of it exports Show me where
  • Customers

    You export it
    1. Open your Contact List.
    2. Go to More Actions, then Export Contacts.
    3. Choose By Label, then All Contacts.
    4. Pick the regular CSV option and export.
  • Upcoming appointments

    You export it
    1. Open the Bookings List in your Wix dashboard.
    2. Set the date range and search.
    3. Scroll all the way down so every booking loads — the download only takes what is on screen.
    4. Use Download CSV at the top.
  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

The scrolling step is the one people miss. Wix only writes the bookings it has actually loaded into the file, so if you download straight after searching you will get a fraction of your diary and not realise.

    1. Included in the same ZIP — there is nothing separate to run.
  • Services

  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

The tidiest export on this page: one action, one ZIP, clients and appointments and services together. It is emailed to you within about fifteen minutes, and only the account owner can run it. The download link expires after seven days, so forward it to us while it is live rather than saving it for later.

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

Usually under five minutes, but a large database takes longer. If nothing has arrived within the hour, run it again before assuming it failed.

Boulevard Customers only Show me where
  • Customers

    1. Open the Clients tab.
    2. Filter the list first if you only want part of it.
    3. Choose Export current list to download the CSV.
  • Upcoming appointments

    Ask their support

There is no self-serve export for this one. Contact Boulevard support and ask them to send it to you as a file, then forward it to us. Start this early — it is the step with another company's response time in it.

  • Staff

    Just tell us

There is nothing to export. List your team in the message — name, email and phone for each person — and we will set them up. Staff are included on every plan, so there is no limit to work around.

Worth knowing

The quick export carries contact details only. If you keep notes or history you care about, ask Boulevard support about a fuller export before you close the account.

Not on the list

Your system is not there, or you cannot find the export

The list above covers what people most often arrive from, not everything that exists. Almost any booking, salon or calendar system can produce a customer list, and the wording is usually similar even when the layout is not.

You do not need to work this out before you talk to us. If a clean export genuinely is not possible from where you are, we will say so plainly and suggest the fastest way forward instead of stringing you along.

Where exports usually hide

  • A Clients or Customers screen, behind a button marked Export, Download, or an actions menu drawn as three dots or three lines.
  • A Reports section — often the only place a system will let you export anything at all.
  • Settings, under a heading like Data, Account, or Privacy.
  • Nowhere at all. Some systems deliberately have no export. If that is yours, ask their support directly and quote data portability — in many countries they are obliged to give you your own data.

Send us a screenshot of your dashboard if you cannot find it. We have seen most of these and can usually point you straight at the right screen.

  • Tell us the name of the app you use today and we will tell you what is possible with it.
  • Not sure which file to send? Send the one you have and we will check it.
  • Using more than one system — one for bookings, another for the client list? Say so, we can work from both.

Live chat, in this window. No account needed to ask.

Step three

You have the file — now what

This part takes about a minute of your time.

Do not tidy it up

Send it exactly as it downloaded. Renamed columns, deleted rows and helpful reformatting make the file harder for us to read, not easier. Untouched is genuinely best.

Send it through chat or email

Start a live chat with the file attached, or email support@settime.io. There is no form to fill in and no ticket number to keep hold of.

Tell us if you already started

If you have already typed some customers or services in by hand, say so. We match against what is there rather than stacking a second copy on top — but only if we know.

Then wait 1–3 business days

We confirm what we can read, load it, and tell you when it is done. If something in the file does not work, you hear about it before we start rather than afterwards.

Half of it typed in already?

This happens more often than you would think, and it is not a problem — it just changes the plan. What we will not do is hand you back two of every customer.

Tell us what you have already done

Customers, services, staff, or all three. A rough answer is fine.

We match, we do not stack

We work against what is already in your account and fill in only what is missing, rather than loading a second copy on top.

Your setup stays your setup

Anything you have already arranged the way you like it — service order, prices you have adjusted, notes you have written — stays exactly as you left it.

Or start that part clean

If what you entered was a rough first pass and the export is better, tell us and we will replace it instead. Your call, made before we start rather than after.

  2. Decidi quali servizi i clienti possono prenotare online, poi attiva la tua pagina di prenotazione.
  3. Scegli quando inviare i promemoria. Un giorno prima è l'impostazione predefinita e va bene per la maggior parte delle attività.

Before you ask

The questions people want settled before they commit — first about the move, then about the file.

About the migration

Is the migration genuinely free?

Yes. There is no charge on any plan, including the free one, and it is not conditional on upgrading. We do not ask for a card to arrange it and there is nothing to cancel afterwards.

How long will it take?

One to three business days once we have your export. If your account is unusually large, or the file needs cleaning up before it is usable, we will tell you that up front rather than halfway through.

Can I keep taking bookings while you work?

Yes, and you should. Carry on exactly as you are until we hand the account back. If new bookings come in while the move is under way, send them over and we will add them, or add them yourself once you are in — either way nothing falls through.

My business is tiny. Is it worth asking?

Yes. There is no minimum. Forty customers is still forty rows you do not have to type, and small accounts are usually the quickest ones we do.

Will my customers be contacted during the move?

No. Nothing goes out to your customers while we migrate. Reminders, confirmations and follow-ups only start once you turn them on yourself, so nobody receives a message about an appointment they booked weeks ago.

What happens to my past appointments and payment records?

They stay where they are. We move what you need to trade — your people, your prices and your upcoming diary — and leave the archive in the system where it is already correct and still readable. A half-accurate history is worse than none: old bookings carry prices, staff and statuses that rarely survive an export intact, and a messy archive quietly distorts every revenue figure you look at afterwards. Payment and payout records stay with whoever processed them. It is one good reason to keep access to your old account rather than closing it immediately.

About the export file

I cannot find the export in my system.

Check the list above first — it names the exact screen for the systems people most often move from, and several of them hide it somewhere unobvious. If yours is not listed, or the steps do not match what you are seeing, send us a screenshot of your dashboard. We have seen most of them and can usually point you straight at the right screen.

Which file should I send if my system offers several?

A spreadsheet format — CSV or Excel — rather than PDF or Word. PDF looks correct to a person but cannot be reliably read back in by software. If CSV is offered, take it. If you are unsure, send what you have and ask.

The export is missing appointments, only customers came through.

That is common. Several systems split customers and appointments into two separate exports, and a few will only give you customers at all. Send what you can get — a customer list on its own is still worth migrating, and we will tell you what is possible with it.

Do I need to cancel my old subscription first?

No, and we would suggest not doing that until your account is set up and you are happy with it. Once an account is closed the export usually goes with it, so download your file while you still have access.

My old system refuses to give me an export at all.

Ask them directly and in writing, and mention data portability — in a number of countries a business is entitled to a copy of its own data. If that goes nowhere, talk to us anyway. It is not always a dead end and we would rather hear about it early than on your first day.
